May be not Rat Race. It is about parents. Parents can be an Asset or Liability to their kids.

On the other hand, for the rich kid, it maybe easy-come, easy-go up-bringing. So in the end the poor kid may do better because his achievement is obtained by "blood, sweat and tears." In this case, which set of parents is the real asset? And which set of parents is liabilty?
So by looking at the picture alone, we can not draw the final conclusion.

CW8888, rat race because it is in relation to "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" about being caught in the rat race. And this is like the different starting points for different people.
Temperament, I do agree. It is the starting point that is the point it is driving across. No doubt, the conclusion is not decided. But it illustrates the difficulty the foreground one has to overcome at the beginning as compared to the background one.
